Ahmed is a risk consulting and internal audit expert, holding the Certified Professional Internal Auditor (CPIA) certification from the Institute of Forensic Accountants in Canada and the United States. He has over 15 years of experience in risk consulting and internal audit services, accumulating extensive expertise from various projects he has led and contributed to in Egypt, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates. Ahmed has spearheaded numerous projects, including the establishment of internal audit departments, conducting risk-based audit engagements, performing fieldwork, and assessing the efficiency and effectiveness of control measures.
Ahmed has extensive experience working with major firms such as Ernst & Young, Deloitte, and Protiviti Consulting, where he held a senior managerial role. He is a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) and the Institute of Risk Management (IRM).
